From simply standing outside the Lincoln Drill Hall, I am given the impression of quite a modern theatre. It is only on closer inspection that you begin to realise that there is quite a history to the building.
On the outside there is the eerie metal face structure, which I personally find quite scary, with its blank expression and literally empty eyes.
On the inside, there is a warmer, community feel, as you are welcomed with their cafe. There are versatile rooms which they use for performances and other events, which will provide us with a range of performance spaces.
