During our time at the Drill Hall today (06/03/2015) we were told to experiment with our space, and with the ideas that we had for our final piece. Laura had pre-printed around 30-40 footprints, which we decided to use to create different patterns and sequences to go with poems we had sourced about World War 1.
We settled on one sequence that found me a Laura laying footprints opposite each other in a marching formation (left, right, left, right etc.) until we were left standing face to face. As a group we thought this left a nice image of two rivals, which in this case would be England and Germany, seeing their enemy for the first time since war was declared.
